Announced by the Associated Press, STRANGE ACADEMY will launch this March as a new ongoing series helmed by best-selling comic book veterans: Eisner Award-winning writer Skottie Young (Deadpool, Rocket Raccoon) and critically acclaimed artist Humberto Ramos (Amazing Spider-Man, Champions). The new series will bring together a whole new class of students from Earth, Weirdworld, Asgard, the Dark Dimension, and beyond to learn how to control their gifts in the Mystic Arts under Doctor Strange, Brother Voodoo, The Ancient One, Scarlet Witch, Magik, Hellstrom, and all of Marvel’s most iconic magicians. But with a new threat looming on the horizon, is it too late?

“What we’re really trying to do is tell those classic coming of age stories that we’ve seen in so many other properties or other projects out there in the world whether it be TV or film or novels or comics,” Young told the AP. “Whether it’s kids running around mazes or kids at a magic school or people running around trying to survive a post-apocalyptic landscape.”

“Fallen Angels is going to be a really terrific book because it’s going to show a different side of some classic X-Men characters,” promises White.

“[Szymon’s] visual storytelling is really peerless and I’m excited for people to see the combination of my voice with its intensity and his voice with his intensity and how that jumps off the page,” says Hill. The New Mutants have reunited under the banner of Krakoa, but they won’t be staying in the new home for long! Their first mission: retrieve their errant comrade Cannonball from the depths of space. Joined by former Generation X members Chamber and Mondo, the New Mutants head for the stars, but quickly come into conflict with both the Shi’ar and the Starjammers.

“Rod Reis is doing the art. It is absolutely gorgeous. It has echoes of the classic Bill Sienkiewicz art, but it’s doing its own thing and it’s really beautiful,” says White.

Announced today at MCM Comic Con London, Robert E. Howard’s swashbuckling heroine, Dark Agnes, will helm her very first comic series. Dark Agnes will be making her Marvel Comics debut this December in CONAN: SERPENT WAR, introducing this beloved swordswoman to a new generation of readers, before taking off on her own adventures in February’s DARK AGNES #1.

The five-issue limited series will depict the journey of Agnes de Chastillon as she frees herself from an arranged marriage to live the dangerous life of a sellsword in 16th-century France. Joined by Etienne Villers, the mercenary pair’s daring exploits will be penned by writer Becky Cloonan(THE PUNISHER) with art by Luca Pizzari(WEAPON X, BLACK KNIGHT).
