It looks like Jason found a perfect promo for the second season of Frontier.
The six-foot-three hulk was recently seen at Jack Axes Inc in St. John’s in Newfoundland, showing off his axe-throwing skills and easily hits the bullseye (some 30 feet from target with minimal effort).
Momoa, best known for his role as Khal Drogo in HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” is in St. John’s filming Discovery Canada’s “Frontier” season 2 where Momoa plays a fur-trading outlaw, Declan Harp. Frontier premiered on Nov. 6, and will continue to air until Dec. 11.
“I’m Jason Momoa. I like beer and throwing tomahawks. And if you’re in Newfoundland, you should come down to Jack Axes.”
It remains to be seen how such skills will be on display in any of his upcoming films Aquaman and Justice League. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Justice League will hit theaters November 17th, 2017 while Aquaman follows on July 26, 2018.

But the most interesting tidbit came when Whedon asked about his interest towards other movie franchises. Following his experience on the Avengers movies, is answer was pretty forthcoming:
“I mean, it’s a fun thing to do, to put yourself in the service of something if you think you can add an interpretation. It’s no different than any other storytelling. Do I want to make a ‘Star Wars’ movie? Yeah.”
Then he adds.
“I was like, “I don’t want to make a Star Wars movie. Like, god dammit, why?” But I saw the trailer for Rogue awhile ago and I was like, “I want to do that.” To make a Star Wars movie and not be wed to the bigger picture.”
Its an interesting thought that is not entirely beyond the realm of possibility, given the recent comments by Disney CEO Bob Iger regarding the future of the Star Wars franchise, which “mapped out” multiple Star Wars movies in the future.

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 4, 2016) – Orion Pictures and Samuel Goldwyn Films announced today that they have acquired the psychological thriller PET, directed by Carles Torrens and written by Jeremy Slater. The film stars Dominic Monaghan (Lost, THE LORD OF THE RINGS Series), Ksenia Solo (BLACK SWAN, LOST GIRL), and Jennette McCurdy (iCarly, Sam & Cat). PET had its World Premiere at the 2016 South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin. Orion Pictures and Samuel Goldwyn Films will release the film in U.S. theaters and on demand on December 2, 2016, and it will be available on DVD on December 27.
In the vein of HARD CANDY and GONE GIRL, PET is a psychological thriller that deals with the themes of identity, loneliness, selflessness and what it means to truly belong to another. It’s told through the prism of two isolated people, Seth and Holly, seemingly different yet more similar than they even knew. She’s back, and she’s got a message. Gaga reemerges in her music alongside a new single ‘Perfect Illusion,’ with a slightly more a rock n’ roll image we haven’t seen much of since her ‘Born this Way,’ album. On September 9th, Lady Gaga released her much anticipated single, this dance rock track is the appetizer for her fifth album “Joanne,” that’s to be released October 21st,
Upon the release, the chorus made many believe this song was about her ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney.
‘It wasn’t love, it wasn’t love
It was a perfect illusion (Perfect illusion)
Mistaken for love, it wasn’t love
It was a perfect illusion (Perfect illusion)
You were a perfect illusion,’
Was Gaga taking the Taylor Swift break-up route in her music?

Lionsgate released a new poster for Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge. This follows the rousing reception the movie received at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday where the movie reportedly received a 10-minute standing ovation.
Hacksaw Ridge is about the real-life story of Desmond T. Doss, a conscientious objector who saved fellow soldiers in Okinawa, Japan during World War II, and did so without firing a single bullet.
This is Gibson’s fist directorial effort since 2006’s Apocalypto.
Lionsgate releases the movie on November 4, 2016 in the US.

Lady Gaga is slated to star opposite Bradley Cooper in the long rumored remake of the classic movie musical A Star Is Born. The pop star confirmed the news on her Twitter account.
Reports of a potential remake of the movie have been floating around Hollywood for the past few years. While Cooper was always mentioned as the director and co-star for the project, which will mark his film directorial debut, the actress rumored to be starring opposite him was another A-list pop star, Beyoncé.
Things apparently heated up this spring when Lady Gaga’s name was newly attached to A Star Is Born, and a reported screen test with Cooper apparently wowed the bigwigs at Warner Bros., which is producing the film. Now, Lady Gaga herself has confirmed the news that she will indeed be performing the title role in the flick.
Im elated to be directed by & starring w/ Bradley in this project. He's a brilliant visionary artist. #AStarIsBorn #AStarIsBornCooperGaga
