2016 Critics’ Choice Awards Movie Nominations

The Critics’ Choice Awards nominations was recently handed out by The Broadcast Film Critics Association, and “La La Land” landed with 12, the most for this year, while Moonlight and Arrival tied for second place with 10 nods apiece.

Because of the genre-specific nature of the nominations, there are a few actors who managed multiple nominations, including Andrew Garfield (for “Hacksaw Ridge”), Ryan Reynolds (for “Deadpool”), Hailee Steinfeld (for “The Edge of Seventeen”), and Lucas Hedges (for “Manchester by the Sea”).

“This year’s nominees showcase the best that Hollywood has to offer, spanning a wide array of genres, subject matters, time periods, and more,” said BFCA President Joey Berlin.

The awards will be handed out during a ceremony on December 11, which will be broadcast by A&E on from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Below is the snapshot of the nominations, with the full list after the jump:
