Emmy Awards 2018: “Game Of Thrones” Win Big

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was one of the big winners on Monday’s 70th Primetime Emmy Awards. The Amazon show won in five categories including best Comedy Series, Supporting Actress (Comedy) for Alex Borstein and Supporting Actor (Comedy) for Tony Shalhoub.

Game of Thrones, also had a great showing, winning Best Drama Series, and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Peter Dinklage.

The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards aired on Monday at NBC and was hosted by Michael Che and Colin Jost.

Outstanding directing for a drama series: Stephen Daldry, “The Crown”
Outstanding writing for a drama series: Joel Fields and Joe Weisberg, “The Americans”
Supporting actress in a drama series: Thandie Newton, “Westworld”
Supporting actor in a drama series: Peter Dinklage, “Game of Thrones”
Outstanding director for a variety special: Glenn Weiss, The Oscars
