Duplass-Produced Series THE LONG LONG NIGHT w/ Mark Duplass and Barret O’Brien Premieres at Tribeca

The “tragically comedic series about two old friends and one disastrous night” is set to have its world premiere on June 12 at Tribeca Festival.

Barret O’Brien is an award-winning actor and author from New Orleans, Louisiana. His plays have been performed at venues across the country and garnered a Storer Boone Award for Best New Play, named a finalist at the William Faulkner Literary Festival, and published by Yale Palimpsest, Jefferson Journal, American Dog Books, and Smith & Kraus Books New American Playwrights: The Best Plays.

Here is the official synopsis:
It’s been six months since that disastrous night in the motel room, and these two guys are nowhere near over it. THE LONG LONG NIGHT is a tragically comedic TV series that follows Pete and Carroll, best friends since kindergarten, as they scramble to build adult lives that contain some semblance of meaning and purpose. The show’s stars, real-life childhood friends Mark Duplass and Barret O’Brien, created the 6-episode first season over the course of two-and-a-half years.
