Although Alfonso Cuarón’s black and white family drama “Roma” won best film and best director (for Cuarón), it was “The Favourite” that went home with the most Baftas trophies, among them Outstanding British film and Best Actress to its lead Olivia Colman. The acclaimed early 18th century period drama from director Yorgos Lanthimos received seven awards in total.
