Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner will team up next summer for a 19-date North American run titled the Double Trouble Double Vision Tour, marking a rare pairing of two long-running rock acts on one bill. The Live Nation–produced trek begins July 23 in Atlanta and wraps August 29 in Rogers, Arkansas.
Artist presales open November 18 at noon local time, with general onsale beginning November 21. Additional details, including ticket links, are available through both bands’ official sites.
Ahead of the joint run, Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform two Florida shows on July 17 and 18, while Foreigner will make a separate appearance at the Mid-Summer Classics Concert Series in Illinois. Both groups also have select festival and special-event stops planned throughout the summer, including Skynyrd’s return to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip on August 11.
Six Gun Sally will open all dates, with Loverboy joining as special guest for select Lynyrd Skynyrd appearances.
In a statement, Foreigner bassist Jeff Pilson said the pairing “is going to set each and every stage on fire,” while Lynyrd Skynyrd frontman Johnny Van Zant noted his enthusiasm for sharing the stage, adding that “it doesn’t get much better than that.”
VIP packages with premium tickets, backstage access, and other add-ons will be offered through VIP Nation.
