25 Films Submitted For Oscars Animated Feature

A broad range of animated features has been submitted for consideration i the Animated Feature Film category, 25 films to be precise. The lists consists of major studio features such as Sony’s “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation,” Universal/Illumination’s “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch” and Warner Bros.’s “Teen Titans Go! To the Movies” and “Smallfoot” as well as art house films such as Fox Searchlight’s “Isle of Dogs.”

Its also worth noting that a few more films are have not yet made their Los Angeles qualifying run including “Wreck-It-Ralph: Ralph Breaks The Internet” and “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch.”

Oscar nominations in all categories are set to be announced Jan. 22, 2019 while the 91st Academy Awards will on Feb. 24, 2019.
