Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails Among 2020 Rock And Roll Hall of Fame

By Creative Media Times

Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G. and T-Rex are among musical acts inducted in this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Also joining them are artist managers Jon Landau and Irving Azoff. They will be presented with the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

Among the 16 finalists who failed to make the cut were Pat Benatar, Judas Priest, Dave Matthews Band, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Todd Rundgren, Kraftwerk, MC5, Motörhead, Soundgarden, and Thin Lizzy.

The Dave Matthews Band snub is particularly surprising after dominating the fan vote with more than 1 million votes.

The 35th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be presented by Klipsch Audio and is set to broadcast live on Saturday, May 2, 2020 from Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio. Special guests are yet to be announced.
