Bleecker Street and ShivHans Pictures has released the trailer for the upcoming comedy “The Wedding Banquet”, a modern day remake of the 1993 Ang Lee movie of the same name.

Starring Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Chan and Han Gi-Chan, the film premiered earlier this year at Sundance.

Frustrated with his commitment-phobic boyfriend Chris and running out of time, Min makes a proposal: a green-card marriage with their friend Angela in exchange for her partner Lee’s expensive IVF. Elopement plans are upended, however, when Min’s grandmother surprises them with an extravagant Korean wedding banquet.

Directed by Andrew Ahn, The Weddign Banquet also stars Joan Chen, Youn Yuh-jung, Nick Preston, Carolyn Yonge, Marlee Walchuk, Emma Yi

The Wedding Banquet is set to be released in theaters on April 18.

“The Life of Chuck” Trailer: Tom Hiddleston In The Stephen King Adaptation

Neon has released the first trailer for “The Life of Chuck”, starring Tom Hiddleston. The upcoming film is adapted from Stephen King’s 2020 novel.

Written and directed by Mike Flannagan, the film stars Tom Hiddleston as Charles “Chuck” Krantz, with a younger Chuck, played by Jacob Tremblay and Benjamin Pajak.

The synopsis says: A story told in reverse, starting with the end of Chuck Krantz’s life, and moving back in time to show how he lived that life.

Also in the film are Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Mia Sara, Carl Lumbly, and Mark Hamill.

“The Life of Chuck” is set for release in theaters from Neon on June 6 followed by an expansion throughout the month.

“Lords of the Fallen 2” Announces Composer Walter Mair

Award-winning composer Walter Mair has been announced as the composer for dark fantasy RPG Lords of the Fallen 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the original 2023 release. The announcement comes during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco – the annual gather of international game developers and publishers. The sequel is set to arrive on PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026, and promises to deliver more commercial elements, particularly in visual design, to attract a broader audience of players.

Walter Mair is known for his captivating scores ranging from epic orchestrations recorded with 80-piece choirs to intimate, small ensemble and hybrid electronic pieces that have graced a diverse mix of feature films, documentaries, television dramas, narrative-driven interactive entertainment and video games.

In 2023, Walter composed the score for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, which after being nominated for a BAFTA and an Ivor Novello Award is now up for 7 awards at this year’s GANG (Game Audio Network Guild) Awards at San Francisco’s Game Developers Conference. Apple TV+ Releases “Your Friends And Neighbors” Trailer

The trailer for Apple TV+’s upcoming drama series “Your Friends & Neighbors”, starring Jon Hamm, has just been released.

The series, which has also already been renewed for season two, is from Jonathan Tropper (Warrior, Banshee) created the series and serves as showrunner.

After being fired in disgrace, Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Hamm), a hedge fund manager still grappling with his recent divorce, resorts to stealing from the homes of his neighbors in the exceedingly affluent Westmont Village, only to discover that the secrets and affairs hidden behind those wealthy facades might be more dangerous than he ever imagined.

Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Marie Gravitt and Donovan Colan star alongside Hamm.

“Your Friends and Neighbors” is coming to Apple TV+ on April 11, 2025. As is the case with most Apple shows, the first two episodes will be released on that day, and the rest every week thereafter until through May 30.

RLJE Films Acquires Crime Thriller “Neighborhood Watch” Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jack Quaid

RLJE Films has announced the acquisition of NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH (formerly NOWHERE MEN), directed by Duncan Skiles (THE CLOVEHITCH KILLER) and starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), Jack Quaid (The Boys), and Malin Akerman (WATCHMEN). The rights will cover North America with plans to release the film in theaters and on demand on April 25th, 2025.

In NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, Simon (Quaid), a young man grappling with mental illness, becomes convinced that he has witnessed an abduction. When he reports it to the police and they refuse to believe him, he reluctantly seeks the help of his neighbor Ed (Morgan), a jaded, retired security guard with his own troubled past. As the unlikely duo delves deeper into the mystery, their pursuit of the truth forces them to confront not only the dark secrets surrounding the disappearance but also the unspoken wounds that haunt them both.

Critically Acclaimed The Horizon Experiement Series To Be Collected Into First Volume This April

The critically acclaimed The Horizon Experiment comic book series, led by Eisner and Harvey Award-winning The Good Asian creator Pornsak Pichetshote, will be collected into a first volume this April. As originally announced by Variety, the series features five unique “pilot” one-shots by all-star creative teams from across entertainment, with stories featuring diverse protagonists inspired by pop culture icons (like James Bond, John Constantine, and Indiana Jones), while exploring popular genre fare from a different perspective.

“The Horizon Experiment is me and some of the most talented people I know seeing what’s possible,” writes Pichetshote in the introduction of The Horizon Experiment, Vol. 1. “Five one-shots co-edited by one of the best editors in comics, Will Dennis, all released monthly and designed to act as pilots for follow-up books if sales merit. Everyone was given the same challenge: Create a protagonist from a marginalized background set in a popular genre where if the background of that protagonist changed, so would your story.”

Co-edited by Pichetshote and Eisner Award-winning editor Will Dennis (Somna: A Bedtime Story, Gideon Falls), the series kicked off with The Horizon Experiment: The Manchurian, written by Pichetshote and featuring illustrations by superstar artists Terry and Rachel Dodson (Adventureman, Harley Quinn), a scintillating thriller full of secrets and scandal, featuring a Chinese super spy inspired by James Bond.
