Star Wars Land will open 2019 at Disneyland

By AI Creative Media

During Walt Disney’s first quarter 2017 earnings call on Tuesday, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that the Star Wars-themed parks at Disneyland and Walt Disney World will be opening in 2019. The company also made the announcement via Disney Parks blog. Until today, the company remained quiet about the theme parks following its August 2015 D23 Expo announcement.

2019 should be a big year for Star Wars fans; Star Wars: Episode IX, the final chapter in the Star Wars “Skywalker” sequel trilogy, is scheduled for release in the same year.

“As we’ve shared, the Star Wars-themed lands are the largest-ever, single-themed land expansions at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. At each location, guests will be transported to a never-before-seen planet – a remote trading port and one of the last stops before wild space – where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life.”

But before the 14-acre parks open its gates, “Pandora – The World of Avatar” will open at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando on May 27, eight years after James Cameron’s “Avatar” hit theaters.

This Hero for Hire is on the case for free, and so help anyone who stands in his way!

“I just wanted to pull him out of his element for this story,” says David F. Walker, in an interview with Marvel.com. “Taking a character out of an environment where they are sure of themselves, and then putting them in a place of physical and psychological uncertainty often makes for good drama.”

Cage is out for answers – and he’s not above using a little force to get them! The underworld of New Orleans won’t know what hit them when Luke Cage comes to town! Don’t miss the explosive first issue when LUKE CAGE #1 comes to comics shops everywhere this May!

‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Gets Extended Super Bowl Spot

By AI Creative Media

Director Michael Bay’s fifth movie in the franchise, “Transformers: The Last Knight” has an extended trailer and it was unveiled during the Super Bowl, which adds more robot mayhem than the 30-second version Paramount released last Friday. After the Super Bowl ad leaked, Michael Bay also released a 4K version on YouTube and a note on his website.

The trailer showed a world where humans and the robots are at war, and pits Optimus Prime against his old friends. According to Forbes “Transformers: The Last Knight” will be Michael Bay’s last Transformers movie.

Here is the official synopsis for Transformers: The Last Knight.

“The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock). There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.”

Starring Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, Isabella Moner, Stanley Tucci and John Turturro, Transformers: The Last Knight arrives in theaters on June 23, 2017.
