Halle Berry fights to protect her twin sons from an unseen evil in “Never Let Go,” a horror thriller hitting 4K UHD and Blu-ray on November 11.
Directed by Alexandre Aja (“Crawl”) and written by KC Coughlin and Ryan Grassby, the film follows a mother and her two boys as they shelter in their family home while an evil force overtakes the world outside. Their survival depends on staying physically connected, literally tethering themselves with ropes. When one son begins to doubt whether the threat is real, the family bond fractures and a fight for survival begins.
Berry, who won an Oscar for “Monster’s Ball,” stars alongside Percy Daggs IV (“The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey”), Anthony B. Jenkins (“The Deliverance”), William Catlett (“A Thousand and One”), Matthew Kevin Anderson (“The Flash”), and Christin Park (“The 100”).
The home release includes several special features: “Making Never Let Go,” “Creating Momma’s House,” “Tethered Together,” deleted scenes, and the theatrical trailer. The 4K edition offers Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio, with Spanish and French audio tracks and subtitles.
The film runs 101 minutes and carries an R rating for strong violent content and grisly images.
