Quentin Tarantino’s already impressive ensemble cast for his upcoming film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” just got even bigger as the production adds James Marsden (X-Men, Westworld) and Julia Butters (American Housewife), Variety announced Friday.

Just a day earlier, Al Pacino joined the film, which is set in 1969 Los Angeles with the Charles Manson murders serving as the backdrop to the story.

The film follows Rick Dalton (played by Leonardo DiCaprio), the former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), who are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. Margot Robbie is set to portray actress Sharon Tate.

Others previously announced as part of the ensemble are Burt Reynolds, Damian Lewis, Margot Robbie, Luke Perry, Clifton Collins Jr., Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Keith Jefferson, and Nicholas Hammond.

Tarantino is writing, directing and producing the film. Filming is expected to start this summer and will be released by Sony.

“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ hits theaters August 9, 2019, 50 years after the Tate-LaBianca murders.
