In the film Anora is a young sex worker from Brooklyn, gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as the parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.

Anora is the latest feature from writer-director Sean Baker (The Florida Project, Red Rocket).

It stars Mikey Madison, Mark Eydelshteyn, Karren Karagulian, Yuriy Borisov, Vache Tovmasyan, Ivy Wolk, Luna Sofía Miranda, Ross Brodar, Lindsey Normington, Darya Ekamasova

The Palme d’Or-winning film is set for release in theaters on Oct. 18. After premiering at Cannes, the critically acclaimed movie now hold a Certified Fresh 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
