Floating the river in Central Texas during weekend in the heat of summer and listening to live music is certainly very inviting.
Organizers have just announced that Lil Wayne, Snoop Dog, Run The Jewels, Pres Hall, Glass Animals and many others are set to join the fun in this July’s two day “Float Fest”.
Now running for five years, the San Marcos music festival is set to take place on July 21 and 22 and starts at 2pm.
In addition to the music and all the fun, the festival also organized a postive effort called Keep the River Clean, which is a river cleanup project.

Do you float the river while listening to music? No. Those two activities happen separately. You float the river in the morning or afternoon, then when you’re done tubing on the San Marcos River, you head over to the concert to enjoy the music! We recommend you float early!
