Daft Punk’s new song set a Spotify record on Friday.

The streaming music service said the electronic duo’s latest tune “Get Lucky” had the most streams of any track on currently available to users in the United States and the United Kingdom.

However, Spotify hasn’t released the number of streams as of this writing. In other words, you’ll just have to take their word for it.

The single, which features rapper and producer Pharrell Williams, is the first single off Daft Punk’s upcoming album Random Access Memories. The collection of tunes is the duo’s first effort since scoring director Joseph Kosinski’s underrated sci-fi flick TRON: Legacy.

The electronic group’s last album Human After All was released in 2005.

Daft Punk’s Spotify streaming record essentially takes the crown away from the Macklemore & Ryan Lewis track “Thrift Shop.” In the UK, the title previously belonged to British band Bastille and their song “Pompeii.”

Fans aren’t the only ones who have an appreciation for “Get Lucky.” Williams performed the song no less than three times at the HTC One launch party in New York.

In addition to taking Spotify by storm, Daft Punk’s new tune has also made a considerable dent on iTunes since its release early Friday morning. The track quickly rose to the top of the Top 10 Songs list. In other words, it would appear the duo has a new hit on their hands.

Earlier this week, fans were tricked into checking out a leaked version of the new single. Unfortunately for those who were anxious to check out the duo’s latest offering, the single was nothing more than a looped version of the previously-released teaser.

Random Access Memories will be available for purchase on May 21.
