The world of John Wick expands with “Ballerina”, with Ana de Armas starring as an assassin, in the upcoming film which occurs on the same events as 2019’s “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.”

Ana de Armas plays Eve “Rooney” Macarro, a ballerina who is beginning to train in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.

Lionsgate has officially dropped the action-packed first trailer.

Directed by Len Wiseman, the film also stars Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, the late Lance Reddick, David Castaneda, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves.

Originally slated for this past June, “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina” is set for release on June 6th 2025.
