Project Hail Mary will hold limited IMAX 70mm early screenings from March 13 to 15, one week before its nationwide theatrical release on March 20.

The screenings will take place at select IMAX 70mm locations, with one showtime per day. The film was shot with IMAX-certified digital cameras, and certain sequences will be presented in expanded aspect ratios at participating venues.

Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the adaptation of Andy Weir’s novel stars Ryan Gosling as a science teacher who wakes up alone aboard a spacecraft and slowly pieces together a mission tied to Earth’s survival.
