Satellite Award: “Dunkirk”, “The Shape of Water”, “Lady Bird” Lead Nominees

The International Press Academy (IPA) announced their nominees for 22nd Annual Satellite™ Awards in Motion Pictures and it was Christopher Nolan’s war epic film “Dunkirk” emerged as the top nominee with 11 nominations, while and Guillermo del Toro’s romantic fantasy “The Shape of Water” was close behind with 10.

Also well represented in the nominations list are “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” and “Lady Bird,” all of which received six nods each, while “Darkest Hour,” “War for the Planet of the Apes,” “Get Out,” and “Blade Runner 2049” received four each.

The International Press Academy (IPA) is an entertainment media association with voting members worldwide who represent domestic and foreign markets via print, television, radio, blogs, and other content platforms for virtually every notable outlet.

The Satellite Awards will take place on Feb. 10, 2018 in Los Angeles.
