The first trailer for Tully has been released, showing Charlize Theron dealing with difficulties motherhood and what it’s like being a parent in 2018.

The comedy drama reunites “Juno” and “Young Adult” team of director Jason Reitman (Up in the Air) and writer Diablo Cody. The film also stars Mark Duplass, Drew Moreau and Mackenzie Davis as Tully.

Released Thursday, the trailer shows Theron’s character, overworked and exhausted. Later in the footage, we see her serve her family a pizza for dinner, prompting her brother to hire a night nanny. The trailer closes as we finally meet the title character.

“I’m Tully. I’m here to take care of you,” Davis’ Tully says as she arrives at the door.

The film is an interesting change of pace for academy award winner Theron, following standout performances in action films such as “Mad Max: Fury Road” (2015) and last year’s “Atomic Blonde.”

Focus Features is set to release the film on April 20, 2018.
